Sheryl spent a significant portion of her career working in the technology industry before deciding it was time for something new and different. Most of that time was dedicated to marketing and implementing software for the public sector at a national software company that grosses over a half a billion dollars in annual revenue. Managing a team that guided clients through the process of implementing complex software applications allowed her to hone organizational and leadership skills with emphasis on creative problem-solving, process efficiency, and customer service. Sheryl's experience advising and serving public sector clients in their accounting and financial needs has been invaluable in the transition to advising and serving individuals and families with their financial, insurance, and real estate needs.
Sheryl is a native Texan, but has had the incredible opportunity of traveling to 48 of our 50 states! She moved to Chicago in 1998 and spent ten years there working with clients around the country before returning to Texas in 2008 to be closer to family. Sheryl is on the Board of two non-profit organizations and the Treasurer of one of those. She and her husband, Glen, currently live in Lubbock, Texas, where they enjoy spending time with family, gardening (when time allows), volunteering with local charitable organizations and their church, and making mission trips to Central America whenever possible.
